Fees & Rebates

Upon making a booking through our secure online platform, you will be asked to confirm it by paying a 25% non refundable  deposit. 

This deposit is then subtracted from the remaining balance due,  at the conclusion of your appointment. 

The cost of consultation / ongoing treatment sessions (approx 50-60 minutes) is $200.00. 

This fee is payable at the end of the session by CASH, EFTPOS, MASTERCARD or VISA. 

Please note we are unable to accept AMEX or Dinners Card at this time.

Whilst you do not require a referral to access our services, a referral is required from your treating GP or Medical Practitioner should you wish to access a Medicare rebate or use your DVA White/Gold card.

Your GP or Medical Practitioner can prepare a Mental Health Care Plan for you, enabling up to 10 rebatable sessions per year under the current Medicare rebate system. 

 A rebate is payable when referred under a GP Mental Health Care Plan. This rebate will be processed at the conclusion of your appointment, and reimbursed directly to you by Medicare. 

To access the Medicare rebates, you'll need to bring your Doctor's referral and Medicare card with you on your first appointment. We apologise, but we are unable to offer you this service if you forget to bring your referral & Medicare card. 

If you are a White or Gold Card holder, issued by the Department of Veteran Affairs,  you may be eligible to receive mental health treatment with no out of pocket expense.  

Please contact DVA to discuss your eligibility for this service. 

Please Note: 

• If DVA accepts your treatment, a referral from your GP or Medical Practitioner is required, followed by a new referral every 12 sessions. 
• If you are attending via a DVA referral and cancel your session, DVA will not cover any cancellation fee(s). These will be incurred by the individual. 

If your booking is due to a workers compensation claim, you may be required to provide additional information to us including but not limited to: 

• Name and contact details of your Treating Doctor/ GP. 
• Name and contact details of any other specialists you may be seeing. 
• Name and contact details of your Employer.
• Name and contact details of your Legal Representative (lawyer/ solicitor).

Private health insurance rebates may also be available to you. 

We recommended you contact your insurer prior to your consultation to determine if your health insurances covers general psychology. 

Please Note: 

• Full Payment is required on the day of your appointment. 
• You will need to submit any claims directly with your insurance company. 

Please note that we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for an appointment cancellation. 

Should you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, failure to give at least 24 hours’ notice may result in you forfeiting your deposit and being charged a further "cancellation" fee of $110.00.  

If you fail to attend your appointment without suitable notice or cause, you will forfeit any deposit(s) paid and be charged the full cost for the session.

If you are attending via a DVA referral this cancellation cost will not be covered by DVA, and therefore, the cancellation fee will be incurred by the individual.
